    What the video shows

Once your authenticator app is set up, signing in to Chiral Cloud has one extra step. This video shows you how to sign in with your app, and what to do if your phone isn't with you.

Start just as you always do. Type your user name and your password, and then choose Sign In. Your password still matters: the code from your app is an extra step, not a replacement for it.

Chiral Cloud now asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

Open the app on your phone, and type the code it shows for Chiral Cloud. The code changes every 30 seconds, so use the one showing now.

Choose Verify, and you're in. If a code is ever refused, check the time on your phone is right, and wait for the next one.

No phone with you? You can use a recovery code instead. To show you, we'll sign out from the Settings menu at the top right, then sign in again with the user name and password, just as before. Chiral Cloud asks for the code from your app again.

This time, choose Use a recovery code. The box now asks for one of your recovery codes.

Type one of your recovery codes, and choose Verify. Each code only works once, so cross it off your list.

To see how many recovery codes you have left, open My account from the Settings menu, and look on the Two-step sign-in tab. If you lose your phone, ask your practice manager to reset your app, and then set it up again.
