    What the video shows

Chiral Cloud records whether each patient has given their GDPR consent, using a check list called GDPR. Here's where to find it, and how to change it for a patient.

You'll find it under Utilities, Housekeeping. Click it, then choose the Check Lists tab. This is where all of your practice's check lists are kept.

The GDPR list has a Built-in tag. It comes with Chiral Cloud, so every practice already has one, and nobody needs to set it up.

Click it to see what's on it: just one item, called GDPR consent given.

Right-click it, and you'll see you can edit it, but there's no option to delete it.

Choose Edit. Because it's built in, its name, code and Active box can't be changed.

GDPR consent given has a padlock, so it always stays on this list. You can still change the description and the colour.

Now let's look at a patient. Find them as usual, here by their surname, and open their record. Then choose the Check Lists tab, where you'll see the GDPR list.

Click GDPR. Every patient starts with consent already ticked, so there's usually nothing to do.

If a patient doesn't want to hear from you, untick it. It saves straight away.

Changed your mind? Just tick it again. It now shows who ticked it.

So, consent is ticked for everyone to start with, and you untick it for anyone who says no.
