Email, text and patient form mail shots automatically leave out anyone whose GDPR consent is unticked. Recalls and appointment reminders still go.

What the video shows
Mail shots only go to patients who have given their GDPR consent. This video shows how that works, so you'll know why someone isn't on your list.
Open your mail shots: Patients, Mail Shots, then Email. Each kind of mail shot has its own list, and they all work in the same way.
Double-click the mail shot you want to send, to open it.
Under the choices, a note reminds you that patients who haven't given GDPR consent are left out of mail shots.
Choose your patients as usual, using the drop-down lists under Operator and Value 1. Here, we choose Provider, and then pick one of our clinicians, so the mail shot goes to all of their patients.
Then press the button beside Patient Selection, to see who it will go to. Our patient is on the list.
Now, imagine this patient rings to say they don't want to hear from us. Find them as usual, here by their surname, and open their record. Go to the Check Lists tab, click the GDPR list, and untick GDPR consent given. It saves straight away, so there's no need to press Save.
Back in the mail shot, press the Patient Selection button again, to see who it will go to now.
Our patient isn't on the list any more. Chiral Cloud has left them out for you.
You can't add them back by hand, so there's no risk of sending to them by mistake.
Text message and patient form mail shots work in just the same way. Open one, and you'll see the same note under the choices.
If the patient changes their mind, go back to their Check Lists tab, and tick the box again. They'll be included in your next mail shot.
Recalls and appointment reminders aren't affected, because they're about the patient's care. So, untick GDPR consent for anyone who says no, and your mail shots take care of the rest.
