New Features
Diary Schedules redesigned
The Diary Schedules screen in Housekeeping has been redesigned. Clinicians are listed on the left, with a search box and tags such as No pattern, On time off today and Unsaved zones. Choose a clinician to see four tabs: Week overview, Working pattern, Time off and Booking zones.
Each table has clearly labelled Add, Edit and Delete buttons, and you can double-click a row to edit it. The wording on the screen is plainer throughout.

Week overview
The new first tab shows a week exactly as the diary will show it for the clinician: working hours, lunch, time off and booking zones, with a key. Use the previous, Today and next buttons to move between weeks.
Right-click a day’s heading or column for Edit working pattern, Add time off on that date, or Edit booking zones for that rota week.
Working patterns
Working patterns now open in a panel on the right. Set the dates the pattern applies from and until (or tick No start date / No end date), then each day’s start and finish times and lunch. Copy Monday to weekdays fills in a typical week in one click. Rotating four-week patterns, reservations and one-off changes are under Advanced.
Mistakes are shown on the day they affect and must be fixed before saving, for example a finish time before the start time, or lunch outside working hours. If a pattern overlaps others, one notice says so, with Show which to list them. New patterns start today with no end date.
The working patterns table summarises each pattern’s days and hours, for example “Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00”.
Time off
Time off also opens in a panel on the right. Choose the dates; All day is on by default, and you can turn it off to set Away from and Back at times. The time off table shows when each absence starts and ends, or “All day”.
Booking zones
Booking zones are now edited a whole rota week at a time, Monday to Sunday, with days off and hours outside the pattern greyed out. Pick an appointment type from the coloured buttons, then drag in the calendar to add a zone. Zones can be dragged to another day or resized, and are shown in their appointment type’s colour.
Click a zone to change its times or comment, or delete it. Copy week… copies one week’s zones to another, and Clear week asks before removing them. A notice shows while there are unsaved zone changes.
If a zone cannot be added, the message says why and what to do, for example “That time already has a booking zone”. Zones that the selected working pattern does not use are marked “not used”.
Copy schedules from another clinician
Copy from… copies another clinician’s working pattern, booking zones, or both. It tells you exactly what will be created before anything changes. Replacing a clinician’s existing booking zones needs an extra tick to confirm.
Online medical history forms
The Form Designer has a new Medical condition question. It asks the patient about one of your practice’s medical conditions as a Yes/No question, with space for details on Yes. Insert medical history questions adds all the conditions marked for your medical history form in one go, in order and with their headings.
When a patient submits the form, use Add to medical history on their response to add the answers to their medical history. Yes answers to Warning and Hazard conditions are ticked to become active conditions, so they show as alerts. The patient’s signature is kept with the medical history and shown in the Medical History panel.

Copy forms from another practice
Practices in a shared group can now use Copy from another practice… on the Forms table to copy forms from another practice in the group. The copies arrive as drafts.

Resolved Issues
Diary Schedules
Selecting a working pattern with different hours could replace the screen with “Something went wrong in the House Keeping section”.
Booking zones made with “Copy previous week” stayed linked to the originals, so moving a copy also moved the original. Copies are now independent.
Booking zones on Sundays did not show in the editor.
- Cancelling a working pattern or time off edit could still change it.
- Add worked before a clinician had been chosen.
- Back-to-back booking zones were squeezed into narrow columns in the week view.
Other fixes
- Family Group: Show this members account now opens the family member’s Account tab, not their details page.
- Medical history: a condition with no patient wording set in Housekeeping showed a blank question in the patient’s medical history and in Add Medical History. It now shows the condition’s name.
