Supported imaging software

ChiralCloud brings images from your X-ray, CBCT, camera and scanner software into the patient record. It does this through Chiral Bridge, a small program you install once on each surgery computer that runs imaging software.

This page lists the imaging software Chiral Bridge works with today and the software that is coming soon. We add software in stages, starting with the products most used in UK practices.

Works with any imaging software today

The Watched folder works with any imaging or camera software that can save or export images to a folder. Set the software to export into a folder, and Chiral Bridge adds each new image to ChiralCloud.

• If the file name contains the patient number in the form CC- followed by the number, for example CC-7264800.jpg, the image goes straight into that patient’s Images.
• Otherwise the image goes to the Import Inbox, where you choose the patient and click Assign.
• JPG, PNG, TIFF and BMP images are picked up. Other files in the folder, such as PDF reports, are ignored.

Set it up in Preferences > Imaging & Scanners.

Coming soon: direct links to imaging software

For the software below, Chiral Bridge will open the imaging software on the right patient from ChiralCloud, and, where the software allows it, bring the images back to the patient record automatically. Until then, use the Watched folder with that software’s export option.
